My name is Shahar Frank and I am working in the hi-tech industry for almost 22 years, doing computer systems infrastructure development and research. My areas of expertise include block storage, file storage, hi-end networking, clustering systems, and server/desktop virtualization. As a co-founder and chief scientist at XtremIO (Now EMC) I am encountering many issues that I wish to share.

Several disclaimers:

  1. The options expressed in this blog are my own private opinions and do not reflect on EMC official stand (if it has one). This blog is not an official XtremIO/EMC blog.
  2. Even though it is a private blog, I don’t want to pretend I am completely unbiased. However, I will make any efforts to ensure everything I write is fair, and to correct it if I failed to be so.
  3. I am not native English speaker and I apologize in advance for any misunderstanding that may result from my ignorance and lack of real writing ability.
